Structural Engineering
Element Design Group’s engineering services goes beyond civil engineering, they also incorporate structural engineering. In some cases, we evaluate an existing condition, and provide analysis and recommendations for repair or improvements if an addition or expansion will take place. Other times, we provide a complete architectural package which includes foundation and structural design. Element’s civil engineering division assisted Dogfish Head with the expansion of their facilities in Milton, Delaware. The existing brewery is located within the Town of Milton and offers tours to the public. The facility is expanding into a proposed +/- 100,000 square -foot warehouse with a dedicated access drive off of Cave Neck Road. The Woodlands of Pepper’s Creek is a twinhome subdivision with 24 buildings on 9.2 acres within the Town of Dagsboro. Element Design Group provided coordination with DNREC, Sussex Conservation District, Sussex County, DelDOT, as well as the Town of Dagsboro.
